Will there be any alcoholic beverages ?
Of course ! We'll have an open bar ready for you as soon as you arrive at the wedding reception. Please note that in adherence to the venue's regulations, please note that you will not be allowed to bring your own alcohol.
When should I RSPV ?
Please RSVP as soon as possible but no later than July 14, 2025. Due to capacity restrictions at the venue, attendance at the reception will be limited to those who have received the invitation. If you have a plus 1, please contact Mely or Emmanuel for confirmation.
Is there free parking available ?
Yes, free parking is available at the Church and at the reception venue. Guests can also leave their cars overnight the night of the wedding until the next day.
Can I bring my kids?
Children hold a special place in Mely and Emmanuel's hearts, and they have been overjoyed to see your little angels enter this world and watch your families grow over the past years. However, due to the venue's capacity, the number of children will be limited to those from the immediate family and the wedding party only.
Will the wedding be in Montreal ?
Both the ceremony and the reception are being held in Ottawa.
Will there be a shuttle from my location to the venue ?
No, but if you need transportation for either the ceremony or reception, please make sure to indicate this in your RSVP.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors ?
Both the ceremony and the reception are indoors. The reception however will be in a greenhouse, so you will have the outdoor feel despite being inside.
Can I bring a plus one?
As the venue capacity is limited, they can only accommodate guests who have received the invitation. If you have a plus 1, please contact Mely or Emmanuel for confirmation.
What is the closest airport to fly into?
Ottawa International Airport is the closest airport (15 minutes by car) however you also have the options of Aéroport International Montréal-Trudeau (2 hours by car), and Aéroport international Pearson Toronto (5 hours by car). We truly appreciate anyone getting on a plane to celebrate with the couple, we know what a commitment that can be !
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Because the ceremony begins at 3:00 PM, we recommend you aim to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and take your seat.
I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request ?
Yes. If you have a food allergy or a dietary restriction, make sure to mention it when you RSVP.
Why is it a Friday ?
The couple chose August 29th because it holds special meaning for them. Coincidentally, it fell on a Friday.
Is there a gift registry ?
Your presence and good energy at their wedding are the best gifts they could receive. However, if you would like to make a contribution, you can consult the list of ideas below.
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
After you RSVP, the couple will reach out to confirm your meal preference and accommodate any dietary restrictions.
What is the dress code ?
The dress code is semi-formal. You should feel comfortable but still dressed up for the occasion. Just make sure that you’re ready to dance and have fun!

Is there a gift registry?
Your presence and good energy at their wedding are the best gifts they could receive. However, if you would like to offer a gift to the couple, please consult the list of ideas below. Having lived on their own, the couple has everything they could possibly need for their home. That's why they're asking you to consider other gifts than boxed gifts.
